In Summary of the individual teams

Aberdeen

In terms of before the split Aberdeen in the next two games have quite an easy set of games next up on Tuesday 28th they play bottom of the league Hamilton away in their last five games against each other, Aberdeen have come out as the victors three times, However they have all been at home, Where as away too Hamilton they have drawn and lost their last two visits to the SuperSeal Stadium, Aberdeen’s last win their was in February 2015 a 3-0 win. After Hamilton in the league they play Motherwell at home with Aberdeen’s last three outings against Motherwell being 7-2,3-1 and 4-1 wins. Following this Aberdeen will have to play Hearts at home and Dundee away, I believe these two will be difficult games, I say Aberdeen will win though against Dundee. They then move on to two home games in a row against Inverness and Rangers, Inverness should be a easy win. However I feel Rangers by April should have a settled team with a manager to fire a decent charge in for second place. Then the last game for Aberdeen will be against Tommy Wright’s well organised and excellent set up St Johnstone team, I feel this will be a draw as St Johnstone are excellent team and are hard to break down.

Rangers

Moving on to Rangers we have been very poor in recent times, However I feel we will start to pick up results beginning with St Johnstone at home Wednesday 1st March. Then the tough away fixture against Celtic, I feel we may actually have a new manager before then that may settle the team and install a bit of fire in to the team which is massively needed. Then three games in a row what look easy on paper but not be easy when they come round depending on the circumstances however I think we will pick up nine points against Hamilton and Motherwell at home an Kilmarnock away. Then a tough fixture away to Aberdeen, As I stated in the Aberdeen summary I feel this will be a settled in team with a new manager with new thoughts and a set up.

Hearts

In my opinion Hearts have struggled this season although picking up big results on the way but I honestly can’t see them getting anywhere near third let alone second place, Although they do have a few ‘ on paper easy ties ‘ in the next two fixtures against Ross County and Hamilton both at home they’ll win but I can’t see them picking up wins against Celtic, Aberdeen and St Johnstone apart from draws against Aberdeen and St Johnstone. Dundee will be a tough test for them as well but it’s at Tyncastle where Dundee haven’t won since 2012.

St Johnstone

St Johnstone next two games will be very testing for them Rangers at home and Dundee away, I feel they will give an excellent case against Rangers but will miss out on points, Whilst Dundee game will be a win as Tommy Wright will want to put his team ahead of Dundee by a few more points. Motherwell away after that an I think they will get the three points, They’ll have tough games against Hamilton away and Hearts at home but will pick up just a point and that being against Hearts. On to their last two games before the split against Inverness and Aberdeen, I feel the lower teams will start to try picking up points against teams like St Johnstone and also Dundee hence why I feel Inverness and Hamilton will both beat them. So St Johnstone will have it tough for the run in, Maybe just maybe sneak fourth place from Hearts within the split.

Soooo in Summary

I reckon Rangers and Aberdeen will start to push away from Hearts and St Johnstone, Although I feel Aberdeen will slip up on the way before the split and Rangers will carry on pushing for that second place, The split games will be the most important matches if like I predict there is only two points between Rangers and Aberdeen, There will only be five games and both will obviously play each other which in my opinion could change the league up or keep it the same way which would be disastrous for Rangers when we should be finishing second place. I left Dundee out of this due to them having tough fixtures before the spilt and I can’t see them getting anywhere above fifth place. Hearts will give it a good go but they will come up too short and so to St Johnstone, They may end up fighting for fourth place between them.

My top half before the split league will look like this with current and predicted points

1. Celtic- Current points- 76 points/Predicted points before the split 91 points
2. Aberdeen- Current Points- 52 points/Predicted points before the split 64 points
3. Rangers- Current Points- 43 points/Predicted points before the split 62 points
4. Hearts- Current Points 38 points/Predicted points before the split 52 points
5. St Johnstone- Current Points 37 points/Predicted points before the split 45 points
6. Dundee Current Points 30 Points/ Predicted points before the split 36 points

Thanks for reading and sharing this around, Next instalment of this sort of thing will be when the 33 games are done and the split fixtures are out.
